Junior Dragons Soccer is intended for our Early Years soccer players. Classes are offered on Saturdays. The emphasis is on fundamental movement skills, basic rules of the game and fun!

Dragons Soccer Skills is offered to children in Kindergarten to Grade 5 after school Monday to Friday. There is also an emphasis on fundamental movement skills, the basic rules of the game but we add in fun, sport specific technical training skills. Soccer Skills is perfect for the recreational player who is not quite ready to commit to multiple practices during the week or games on weekends.

Dragons Soccer is intended for children who want to play on a soccer team, practice soccer on a regular basis and play games on the weekends. Children in Dragons Soccer play in the Jakarta Schools Competition League against children in different schools. Children are assessed a the start of the season and and placed in teams according to their skill level so that they can play against players from other schools with similar playing skills. After the assessment the children will be placed on different teams and parents will receive links to register their child. 

PEL:

*U9s practice Tuesday and Friday from 2:10 pm - 3:25 PM

*U11s practice Tuesday and Friday from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

PIE:

*U9 practice Monday and Wednesday from 2:10 PM - 3:25 PM

U11 practice Tuesday  2:10 PM - 3:40 PM and Thursday 2:10 - 3:10 PM

The Dragons U11 United team is a select team made of players from both PIE and PEL. They practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15 - 4:45 PM.

Assessments for the Dragons Soccer (U9 and U11 teams) will take place on Sunday, August 25. Players will be assessed and then will be placed in teams. After the assessment parents will receive a private registration link. Elementary aged girls who wish to play on a Girls Dragon soccer team need not attend the assessment day unless they want to play on the coed team made mostly of boys. 

Dragons Girls Soccer Team

Girls who would like to play on an all girls soccer team should select Dragons Girls Soccer Team. Girls on this team will practice one time during the week and practice/have games on Sunday mornings. 

Dragons Elite Soccer is designed to provide top-tier training and development for young Middle School and High School athletes who show exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. The program emphasizes advanced technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental fortitude through a rigorous and structured curriculum. Participants benefit from experienced coaching, competitive play, and opportunities to showcase their abilities at regional, national and international levels, fostering their growth into well-rounded, high-performing soccer players. Additionally, the program prioritizes character development, instilling values such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship to help athletes succeed both on and off the field. 

There is a separate Dragons Elite Soccer ( U13 & U15)  tryout which will occur in mid to late November.  Non JIS students are also welcome to try out for the Dragons Elite Soccer team.

Dragons Soccer Camps are held at various times throughout the year by either our JIS Academy soccer coaches or with a special guest from overseas.

Uniforms

Players playing on a Dragons Soccer team will be using the same jersey design as last year. New players will need to purchase a uniform at an additional cost of 500,000 IDR. The uniform comes with two shirts, a pair of shorts and 1 pair of socks. We will determine who needs uniforms the first week of practice.

NON JIS students are invited to join our Junior Dragons Saturday program. They are also welcome to attend our soccer holiday camps and try out for our U13 and U15 soccer teams set to start up in November.
