Track and Field

Junior Dragons Track and Field is an engaging athletics program designed for students in grades 2 to 5, focusing on comprehensive skill development across a variety of track and field events. The program emphasizes participation, personal achievement, and fun, offering children the opportunity to explore running, jumping, and throwing activities. Through modified equipment and simplified rules, the program ensures that all participants, regardless of ability, can enjoy and improve their athletic skills. Regular weekly meets allow children to try multiple events and track their progress, with a strong emphasis on achieving Personal Bests (PBs) rather than competing against others.

In addition to fostering athletic development, Junior Dragons Track and Field promotes a strong sense of community and teamwork. Monthly track and field meets at the Cilandak campus provide a more formal setting for students to showcase their skills, including special events like the 200-meter and 400-meter sprints and hurdles. The program encourages family and community involvement, with parents and community members actively participating in meets and events. By incorporating health and well-being education, the program also teaches children the importance of staying active and making healthy lifestyle choices, aiming to cultivate a lifelong love for sport and physical activity in every participant. Come be part of our new Track and Field program!
