AI Pioneers: An Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Primer for Middle Schoolers (Grades 6 - 8)
Taught in person by Stanford & MIT instructors who will fly to Jakarta to lead this experiential program. In AI Pioneers, our emerging engineers will learn how to create projects for social good with Python programming language. Through hands-on coding, students will learn how computers can use data to solve complex problems like natural language processing and computer vision. Our students will explore the ways they can meaningfully use AI to predict heart disease, create social robots, assist with disaster relief, and navigate autonomous vehicles.
In our curriculum, we emphasize ethical responsibility, career paths in artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary applications! From beginner to advanced coders, we envision a future where students of all backgrounds can contribute towards a bright future of inclusivity and technological advancement.

Taught in person by an Ivy League instructor (last year they were alumni from Stanford University) who will fly to Jakarta to lead this experiential program.
What do self-driving cars, Alexa, iPhone's face recognition technology, and ChatGPT have in common? They are driven by modern advances in artificial intelligence. Whether you’re interested in law, healthcare, art, or economics, AI is poised to transform every discipline and industry in the future. AI is already all around us today, and by the end of the program, students will understand the underlying concepts and motivations behind technology such as computer vision, natural language processing, and neural networks.
In this course, we will explore the foundations of machine learning and explore different applications of machine learning models. In the first half of the course, students learn AI’s core technologies including applications, foundational concepts, and programming tools through live lectures and coding labs. Students will not only learn about different types of machine learning models, but also apply those models to real data sets. In the second half of the course, students will complete an instructor-led group project applying AI to the discipline of their choice (e.g., music, healthcare, astrophysics, finance, etc.), utilizing the programming skills they developed in the first half.

Basketball (Grades 6 - 12)
Summer is a great time for players to improve their skills. We have the privilege to have a week with Indonesia’s first American national team player- Jamarr Johnson.
Jamarr is currently playing in the Indonesian Basketball League for the Hornbills. He is a 9-year pro, who has played in over 7 different countries winning multiple championships and receiving several MVP awards.
This week of basketball training will involve a series of high-intensity sessions where players will compete, and work on developing skills to help take their game to the next level. Moves such as step-back jumpers, euro steps, spin moves, creating space, handling pressure defense, scoring against taller defenders, shooting accuracy, and developing basketball IQ, mixed with some basketball strength training. After this week you will feel that you have learned more about your game.

Graphic Design (Grades 6 - 12)
Graphic Design will introduce students to ideas and techniques needed to create t-shirts, mugs, jackets, calendars, sandals, and many other items. Each student will get an actual product of their design at the end of the class.

Step into the world of the Wall Climbing Club, where we're all about taking your outdoor experience to the next level! Our club is for adventure seekers, fitness lovers, and anyone up for an exciting challenge. Whether you're a climber or a newcomer to the sport, our club offers a supportive and inclusive environment for climbers of all skill levels. There are 8 climbs at the JIS climbing wall. Merapi, Bromo, Agung, Krakatau, Overhang, Salak,Rinjani and Side wall.
Our experienced instructors are on hand to provide guidance, tips, and techniques to help you improve your climbing skills safely and effectively. Learn proper belaying techniques, footwork, and climbing strategies in a supportive learning environment.

Step into the world of the Wall Climbing Club, where we're all about taking your outdoor experience to the next level! Our club is for adventure seekers, fitness lovers, and anyone up for an exciting challenge. Whether you're a climber or a newcomer to the sport, our club offers a supportive and inclusive environment for climbers of all skill levels. There are 8 climbs at the JIS climbing wall. Merapi, Bromo, Agung, Krakatau, Overhang, Salak, Rinjani and Side wall.
Our experienced instructors are on hand to provide guidance, tips, and techniques to help you improve your climbing skills safely and effectively. Learn proper belaying techniques, footwork, and climbing strategies in a supportive learning environment.
