Volleyball with Coach Sawyer

 1-Day Competitive Volleyball Clinic (Grades 9-12)

This single-day program is perfect for students who are unable to attend the full week of camp or who want supplementary coaching to enhance their current skills, led by the legendary Heather Sawyer, a lifelong volleyball ambassador with over 50 years of experience as a player and coach. Participants will learn discipline, teamwork, and a deep respect for the game from a true leader. 

Coach Sawyer's Distinguished Career Includes:

• Elite Player: D1 Collegiate Champion (Western Michigan University), 4-time 1st Team All MAC selection, and a member of Team Canada (participating in the World Cup, World Championships, and Olympic Qualifications).

• Championship Coach: Certified Canadian NCCP Level 3 coach with extensive experience at all levels, including a collegiate Head Coach position and 22 years at Lakeview High School.

• Acclaimed Educator: Holds a Masters Degree in Coaching Education and was named Michigan Physical Education Teacher of the Year.

The clinic's core objective is to significantly improve each participant's game by building a strong fundamental foundation. Training will concentrate on crucial positional skills for setters, middles, and outside hitters. A key element of the session will also be dedicated to developing a positive competitive mindset.
